Nest Not Blowing Hot Air

This was on a base that was 1 year old that nest replaced because the previous base failed. This time they refused to replace the base even though it was only a year old. Poor quality product that the company will not support. I was going to buy the google nest mesh wifi system, but not anymore given poor quality products and service!!!

I ordered a new nest thermostat (the $129 unit recently released) a few days ago to replace my old non programmable thermostat. While i had some initial confusion with the wire locations (i was reading the conventional labels on my set up, not the heat pump labels, chat support helped me. Why is my nest thermostat not working? If your nest won't turn on, most probably it's a power issue and most likely the battery has run out of juice. The only time it does not blow hot air is when i turn the air off and only use the fan. Change the o/b wire settings in case your system begins to blow cool air when your nest thermostat is in warmth mode (or if it blows heat air when its in cool mode), change the settings for orientation of your warmth pump. When i installed my nest thermostat it was blowing hot air instead of cold. This was because my old thermostat had 'conventional' and 'heat pump' labels on. The reason your nest thermostat is not cooling is because you incorrectly labeled your wiring according to the "conventional" side of your old thermostat, instead of using the "heat pump" side.
